Criteria for Membership: Worthy former members may be voted to be given permanent status in the Legion Reserve (Adventure Comics No. 321). Applicants who were initially rejected may also be awarded Reserve status if they are deemed worthy (Superboy No. 125, Adventure Comics No. 355/2).

Comments

*Bouncing Boy (Chuck Taine) became a reservist in 2964 when he lost his super-power. In 2966, Dr. Zan Orbal rediscovered the super-plastic serum that originally gave Chuck his super-bouncing ability and he regained his power and active status (Adventure Comics No. 351).

**Superboy left the team's active roster in 2969 so the Legion would stay within the 25-member limit imposed by tax laws (Action Comics No. 387, Action Comics No. 391 "Metropolis Mailbag").
